Daily Ag Direction 9/10/25
Good Morning!
We are seeing mixed trading across the complexes. Wheat values stay grinding in the trading range we’ve been seeing for the past week. This comes after a rather uneventful overnight session. Markets are quiet as everyone looks for potential escalation in Europe with after the Russian drone incident over Poland. The market also remains watchful to see if there is any difference in corn after Friday’s report. Corn is also grinding like wheat after low trade volume yesterday and in the overnight. Yesterday we saw the lowest volume of trades in the corn market this year. Beans are trading lower with no real news to propel any big moves. Friday will be the big day for beans with a new WASDE coming out. The biggest concern for beans is lack of guidance from the EPA regarding green diesel programs and the lack of demand from China. Without exports, bean values will continue to meander.
Looking ahead at the weather, much of Oklahoma appears to be catching a break in the extended forecast. The areas that will be impacted by rain the most will be the Oklahoma and Texas Panhandles and the majority of the state of Kansas. Rain looks to be marginal with 0.25 max for most areas. Texas Panhandle will receive the most at 1.00 inch. As the week goes on temps will hang around the high 80’s – mid 90’s in the day and into the low 70’s and 60’s by night.
